Festival of Youth
As stated before in a previous post, there are quite few festivals in The Sims 4 if you have City Living and Snowy Escape expansion packs installed. Willow seems to like to attend to these festivals due to the gathering of Sims and the mischief and mayhem she can cause. One such festival is the Romance Festival in the city.
Apart from the obvious romantic vibe this festival brings, there are rare plants that can be harvested, a "love guru" who can be consulted, food stalls and swag stalls and of course, the infamous Sakura Tea which when sipped, places the Sim in a flirty mood. Although Willow drinks the tea, she is far from wanting any flirty conversations with other Sims. Willow has something else in mind.
Armed with the "chillio" spell that she learned previously, Willow sets out to cast this on other unsuspecting Sims. There are a few Sims there that have encountered Willow before and her evil shenanigans plus a few others who have also previously been chillioed.
Of course karma plays a part in Willows life. They say what goes around, comes around and this is also true in The Sims 4. Spells can backfire and when they do, they can leave the caster in a bit of a dilemma.
Willow thankfully survives and lives to face another day which she uses to visit The Festival of Youth in Mount Komorebi. This festival, as the name suggests, is for the youth of any of the worlds to come and visit, play and make friends.
Willow's evilness knows no bounds as she takes gleeful pleasure in setting alight the little pink climbing frame in the middle of the square. I hasten to add here that no child was hurt in the blaze, in fact the little one carried on climbing and swinging and having a lovely time. But in a sense, we knew this would happen, which is why Willow decided to set the climbing frame on fire in the first place.
Our evil witch will of course still try and exterminate her neighbours by fire and/or freezing on community lots and festivals and as she grows stronger in her magical endeavours, one can only hope that she doesn't exterminate herself.

Voodoo Doll
The Voodoo Doll has been in The Sims 4 game from the beginning. In The Sims 3 however, this had to be purchased from The Sims 3 Store as I remember, as extra content for your game. When you "bind" the Voodoo Doll with a Sim, you can then affect the Sim through the doll. For example, if you pour water over the bound doll, the Sim that it is bound to will become soaked. Likewise, if you place the bound doll on a fire, the Sim that it is bound to will simultaneously be set alight. I found this out, thanks to a post by a fellow Simmer, on Reddit.
For your Sim to acquire a Voodoo Doll in The Sims 4, your Sim will either need to purchase one, which costs around 1,000 simoleons or may "win" one from the Humour and Hi-Jinks Festival if you have City Living installed. This is where Willow Mendip acquired hers.
Having had this doll in her inventory for quite a while, it was only a matter of time in which Willow would test this out.
There are many festivals in The Sims 4 and a few more have been added with the Snowy Escape expansion pack. One such festival that came with this pack was "The Festival of Lights". Lights of course come in the form of stars, lights, candles and fire, such as bonfires. One such bonfire is conveniently placed in the Festival Square for anyone to light and interact with. For an evil witch with a Voodoo Doll, this is a dream come true.
One elderly Sim was chosen for this experiment as it was deemed that she didn't have "long to go" anyway. Willow introduced herself in a friendly fashion and was then able to bind the doll to her victim; she then threw the doll into the bonfire. The effect was instantaneous.
Unfortunately for Willow but fortunately for the Sim, the combustion doesn't last long and the Sim survived but, it was fun to do - for an evil witch of course.

Fire
The behaviour of Willow Mendip of The Sims 3 and her incarnation in The Sims 4 with regard to fire is noticeably different.
For example, in The Sims 3, Willow would run around the neighbourhood setting things and Sims on fire, one after another, and then laugh maniacally at the poor Sims misfortune. In The Sims 4 however, she will run from the blaze and unfortunately, EA/Maxis seem to have "calmed" things down a little, to the point that Willow, although evil, isn't quite as evil as in The Sims 3. In this incarnation, she becomes upset at seeing Sims die, unlike in TS3 where she took great pleasure in killing off Sims, one by one.
Of course this doesn't stop her from starting fires whether it be in the park or on her home lot. Starting fires on a community lot seems to bring a lot of do-gooders who turn up with fire extinguishers to put out the blaze. Willow's plan of killing Sims away from her home lot seems to be futile as there are too many neighbours to come to the rescue. However, starting a fire on her home lot brings different results.
Willow enjoys entertaining, in more ways than one, and inviting Sims from her neighbourhood to her home is a great way of achieving this. You would think that the Sims in her neighbourhood would have grown wise to Willow's ways. At one point I thought this may have happened but time and time again, Willow invites them over and they still accept her invitation.
This particular day is no exception.
It's the day after the Summer Party and the hot Summer sun is still beating down on this little Glimmerbrook home. It's a wonder that there weren't any "natural" fires on the lot. Nevertheless, Willow decided to start her own.
As she waved her arms and cast the deady spell of "Inferniate", the blaze took hold of the dry grass and the unsuspecting guest. This time, there were no neighbours with fire extinguishers. This time, the other guests ran to the front of the lot, waving their arms about in a panic. Willow followed suit. There was of course no need to light any more fires. Her deadly deed was done and all she had to do was wait.

Homely Bungalow
I really enjoyed creating my first stop motion video from my residential build "Country Cottage" so I went on to do "Woodland Lodge". My latest creation is "Homely Bungalow" where I feel the video has turned out a lot better. However, I did make a few mistakes (again) but edited them out as best as I could.
Watching a few more tutorials on YouTube helped me to gain a better understanding of camera angles and video speeds and I tweaked a few settings, as was suggested.
With this build, I wanted to use more of the DEBUG items to make it a little more unique and built it without a Sim on the Lot. This enabled me to have access to items only available when the Sims reach certain points in their careers. I also used some "fabrication" items from the Eco Lifestyle expansion pack such as tables and chairs.
There is no custom content in this build so as long as you have the expansion/stuff/game packs that I have used, you're good to go!
Before uploading to The Sims 4 Gallery, I play tested the build. After making a few tweaks, I was ready to share it.
I hope you and your Sims enjoy this little bungalow in your game just as much as I enjoyed creating it!

Summer Party
During the hot months of Summer, it is only natural for Sims to want to get together and hang out by the pool. Partying is on the agenda and what better than to do this with friends - drinking, dancing and lots of water fun is perfect on a hot summers day.
Willow is no exception. Even our evil witch loves to hang out in the garden in the sunshine, especially since she loves the outdoors.
Unfortunately for Willow, she doesn't have a swimming pool or even a bar. Neither does she have a radio or music centre. To top it all, she doesn't even have any friends. But this doesn't stop Willow from inviting other Sims over to her house and it doesn't stop other Sims from taking her up on her invite. However, as I have said before in previous posts, Sims turn up to Willow's home but not all of them leave.
This year in Glimmerbrook, the Summer has been especially hot, to the point of a heatwave, so Willow decided to have a Summer Party.
She invited a few Sims over that she knew and low and behold, they accepted her offer. These poor unsuspecting Sims thought they were in for a good time; lounging around in the Summer sun, drinking, dancing, water fun but they were in for a big surprise.
Willow took the precaution of locking her door so that her guests would stay in the garden to get lots of sun and fresh air. And of course she made her speciality dish of Pufferfish Nigiri, just in case her guests became hungry.
Everyone gathered in the garden, chatting and getting to know one another. A few picked up plates of food and struggled to eat it with the chopsticks provided but they persevered, to their detriment.
As you can guess, the inevitable happened. And if the Pufferfish Nigiri didn't kill them, the hot Summers sun would.
No-one left Willows home that day.
